How to upgrade M3 firmware:

1. Copy the M3.hex file provided by FiiO to the M3 internal storage root directory;
2. On the playback page, press the menu key for a long time to enter the settings page. On the page that appears, select Settings to automatically upgrade disks;
3. After the upgrade progress bar is completed, M3 automatically restarts;
4. Re-select the language;

note:
1. When you upgrade the firmware, we recommend that you use the FAT32 file system for the built-in storage. If the upgrade fails, use M3 to configure and format the memory;
2. The firmware upgrade does not clear the songs in the built-in storage;
3. After the firmware upgrade is completed, you must play the tracks in the built-in storage or TF card before returning to the playback page (that is, mount the disk);
4. After the firmware upgrade is completed, the M3.hex in the built-in storage is automatically renamed M3 ~.hex to prevent repeated upgrades. We recommend that you connect to the computer and delete it manually;
5. Ensure that M3 has sufficient power to avoid failure of upgrade (preferably under full power);
6. Do not operate the machine during the upgrade;

7. After the firmware upgrade is completed, the slow startup process during M3 automatic restart is due to rewriting the firmware. This is a normal phenomenon.
