Linux computer

The Linux system is driver-free. In theory, it can be used directly by connecting it. However, due to the large number of versions, there is no guarantee that all systems can be adapted. If it is connected, it is recommended to use other data cables or USB ports to check. If it is not recognized, it should be is not supported.

Does K19 support driverless function?

Yes. In the system setting menu of the K19, you could switch U-AUDIO option to UAC 1.0. PS5, Switch and other drive-free devices can be supported.

Why can’t K9 be recognized and used (USB) on win7 or win8 system computers?

The provider that provides us with USB DAC driver solutions has made it clear that it is no longer compatible with win7 and win8 systems in 2021, and only retains support for win10 and win11 systems.

In order to solve the problem of errors when users mistakenly use XMOS firmware to upgrade, we have decided after research to use a separate PID for each model of subsequent new products as a basis for upgrade judgment. It turns out that FiiO's old models share the same PID. K19 uses a new PID, which cannot be recognized by versions 5.50 and below. It needs to be updated to version 5.50 or above.

Therefore, driver version 5.58 and above must be installed to use K19, and K19 is not compatible with win7 and win8 systems.
